Dialogue Forum
Discussion between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people is often made difficult or impossible
by issues and perceptions far removed from – and often far bigger than – the business at hand.
Talking about the issues can be risky because they constitute the social, historical, fmancial,
legal, political and cultural gap between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal Canadians. Guided by
the philosophy that differences expressed and heard courteously are essential to developing
relationships, ICAB hosts Dialogue Forums in an environment that supports respectful exchange
for an in-depth exploration of the difficult, deeper questions.
