Who We Are

Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal Leaders, Working Together for Mutual Benefit.

As a respected leader in aboriginal-industry economic development and relations, ICAB is a non-profit business organization with a volunteer board of directors.  Our vision is to realize a vibrant British Columbia economy where Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people prosper together.

What We Do

Enabling Regional and Economic Development of Aboriginal Communities.

We help bring corporations, provincial and federal governments together with aboriginal communities to deliver broad based community and economic development.   Our programs cultivate business relationships between corporations and aboriginal business and labour pools; they include both open and member only events, meetings, community outreach and the BC Aboriginal Business Association(BCABA).

Member Benefits

Improved Access to Reliable, Certified Aboriginal Businesses and Labour.

Your corporation can play an important role in the development of one of Canada’s fastest growing demographics by providing leadership in helping to build aboriginal regional development and business sector capacity. ICAB promotes its member organizations through member profiles, database listings, at events and through media communications. We have low yearly fees, a variety of membership levels and many benefits including programming discounts and improved access and exposure to BC aboriginal communities and organizations.

The Industry Council for Aboriginal Business has come together for the sole purpose of removing these barriers with the vision of contributing to a vibrant BC business economy where Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people prosper together.

To this end, ICAB facilitates programs furthering dialogue and relationship-building essential to economic development in Aboriginal communities in British Columbia.
